Paul Miller Responds To The Challies Review Of “A Praying Life”

After a great review of Paul Miller’s recent book “A Praying Life” by Tim Challies, the author popped in on the thread and offered his response to some of the gentle critisisms brought up in that review.

I commend both men for the kindness and love used in their words.

  2. After reading the various comments on the Challies Review.. inc. from the author himself, I’m inclined to give the book a place way back on the ‘back burner’… too much posturing and positioning… political correctness in the evangelical realm for me…. Mention Merton or mystics and it’s like anti-Christ profanity… let God speak to us by His anointing within us as we read any book or listen to any mere mortal…. enough of the posturing!
